Children and Family Across Borders International Spring Fair and Food Festival
Mongolian Art and Culture in London together with the Mongolian Embassy in the UK represented Mongolia at the 56th Children and Family Across Borders (CFAB) International Spring Fair and Food Festival on 12th & 13th May 2015 which took placeat Kensington Town Hall in support of their charity work for protecting children and uniting families across borders.
Diplomatic missions of over 70 countries based in London brought their art, culture and food over two days. Proceeds raised went to CFAB.
This year, our highlights were amazing hand-painted and colourful silk scarves and artworks by a Mongolian designer Ch. Sendem; ink painting and paper cutting artworks by Mongolian artists, Mongolian souvenirs, cashmere as well as books on Mongolia, Genghis Khan and Kublai Khan. Artworks were provided by us, the Mongolian Art and Culture, cashmere – by a London-based Mongolian designer Semka Dashnyam. Books were provided by a British writer John Man.
Princess Alexandra came to see our stand and her staff were in awe of the hand painted silk scarves by Sendem.
